Mayo Clinic is seeking a Radiation Therapist to provide daily care for cancer patients, interpreting and delivering radiation treatments and performing simulations for students.
The role includes potential coverage of IORT and various proton/ photon procedures, with on-call and scheduling duties. Overtime and regional site coverage may be required; ARRT certification and JRCERT‑accredited training are essential.

To provide daily care of cancer patients, including accurate interpretation and delivery of radiation treatments. To perform simulations and provide clinical instruction for radiation therapy students. In addition, Radiation Therapist may be required to cover IORT, Brachy Procedures, Proton Practice, Photon Practice, On-call and Treatment Scheduling. Radiation Therapists are an active member of the care team and attend meetings or communicate with team members. These varying positions may require mandatory overtime and shift work. Radiation Therapists may be required to cover any Rochester or regional practice site as needed.
The Radiation Therapist job requires at minimum associate's degree and successful completion of a JRCERT accredited program in Radiation Therapy. Previous experience as an R.T.T. including Photon and Proton treatments, daily imaging, and simulation procedures would be beneficial however, not required. Current ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy required at time of hire or within 2 months of start date. Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 2 months of start date.
