Job summary

Sentara Princess Anne Hospital in Virginia Beach is seeking a Radiation Therapist to provide high-quality radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by a Radiation Oncologist. The role offers PRN/Flex shifts with a minimum of 8 hours per week, up to 40 hours, and opportunities for professional growth within a caring hospital system.

Minimum requirements include an Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology; ARRT Certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology is REQUIRED.
• ARRT Certification is PREFERRED.
• Completion of an approved certification program prior to 2016 in lieu of Associates degree will be considered.
• No experience required

Responsibilities

• Provide radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by a Radiation Oncologist according to established practices and standards.
• Assist in maintaining patient safety and accurate treatment delivery.
• Collaborate with the oncology team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Compensation

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits.

The base pay range for full-time employment is $44.05 - $65.34 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
