Holy Redeemer seeks a Radiation Therapist to provide high-quality therapy care under the direction of the Medical Physicist, Radiation Oncologist and Cancer Center Director. You will perform all technical procedures required to deliver precise doses of radiation, including CT simulation and portal imaging.
The role requires the operation of CT Simulator and linear accelerator, mold/immobilization device fabrication, imaging, and related software and documentation.

Under the direction and supervision of the Medical Physicist, Radiation Oncologist and Cancer Center Director, provides radiation therapy care to patients performing all technical procedures required to deliver accurate dose of radiation therapy treatment: operation of CT Sim and linear accelerator; portal imaging and film processing; mold and immobilization device fabrication; computer technology and software requirements for treatment planning, dose verification and recording; documentation in medical record; patient scheduling and billing. The radiation therapists provide safe and quality care to patients with appropriate positioning, preparation, instruction and assessment of patient needs.

Graduate of a two year A.M.A. approved School of Radiologic Technology - successful completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy Technology program, holding certificate or degree
A.R.R.T. (American Registry Radiologic Technology) Certification - ARRT registered in Radiation Therapy in the state of Pennsylvania
Proficient in Radiation Oncology technical procedures including operation of treatment machines, simulator, film processor, mold and immobilization equipment, computer software.
Minimum of 6 months experience in a clinical environment
CPR certified
Basic knowledge of computers required
Must be reliable, motivated and have good communication skills
