Mohawk Valley Health System in Utica, NY seeks a Radiation Therapist to work under the direction of a Radiation Oncologist. You will localize tumors and administer prescribed radiation, perform CT simulations, position patients, and ensure safety and compliance with policies.

The ideal candidate has NYS licensure in Radiologic Technology, ARRT, CPR, and is a graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program.

Formación

• Graduate from an accredited School of Radiation Therapy Technology.
• Current NYS Licensure registration in Radiologic Technology Radiation Therapy.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
• Current Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation Certification.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver Radiation Therapy and administer prescribed dose under the direction of a radiation oncologist.
• Position patients for treatments with accuracy using image guidance.
• Perform daily quality assurance checks on linear accelerators and CT/simulation equipment.
• Identify patient and treatment area prior to treatment in ARIA and ensure accuracy.
