Job summary

Saint Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center (SJHMC) in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a Radiation Therapist to deliver prescribed radiation therapy with precision and compassion. Responsibilities include patient positioning, equipment operation, daily QA checks, and close monitoring of patients during treatment.

Requirements include an Associate's Degree in Radiography, plus a Radiation Therapy education program, and 3 years of oncology clinic experience.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in radiography and completion of an accredited radiation therapy program.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist in a Radiation Oncology clinic.
• Registered Radiation Therapy Technologist: AZ (RRTT:AZ) and RTT.
• American Heart Association BLS-CPR.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prescribed courses of radiation therapy with clinical precision and patient comfort.
• Meticulously position patients for treatment and operate radiation equipment.
• Perform daily quality assurance checks and monitor patients throughout treatment.
• Provide support and clear communication to patients and care teams.
• Ensure safe and effective cancer treatment through attention to detail and professionalism.
