Texas Oncology in McAllen, TX is seeking a Radiation Therapist to join our team. Under direct supervision, you will administer radiation therapy, ensure accurate beam positioning, and deliver prescribed doses to patients.

You will enter treatment parameters into the electronic medical record, assist in scheduling and billing accuracy, and contribute to a safe, organized clinical environment while adhering to compliance standards and professional guidelines.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification is required and state license must be valid.
• Graduate from an accredited radiation therapy program.
• Ability to assist in clinical instruction and maintain patient care standards.

Responsabilités

• Deliver and record radiation therapy treatments under supervision.
• Enter and maintain treatment parameters in the EMR.
• Support patient scheduling and ensure correct billing information.
• Cut blocks and prepare molds as needed.
• Interpret a computerized treatment plan and maintain a safe environment.
• Keep the work area clean, organized and compliant with standards.
