Job summary

Prisma Health in Richland, South Carolina seeks a Radiation Therapist to interpret and deliver prescribed radiation therapy, prepare rooms and equipment, and verify treatment parameters within established protocols.

You will perform CT-based simulations, assist in immobilization devices, maintain treatment records, monitor patients, and participate in QA and safety programs under supervision of a Radiation Oncologist.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate degree in radiation therapy or equivalent.
• ARRT (T) license or Board Eligible within one year of hire.
• SCRQSA license required for SC.
• Must have completed an accredited Radiation Therapy program.

Responsibilities

• Interprets and delivers prescribed radiation therapy.
• Prepares treatment room and equipment per prescription and simulation.
• Performs CT-based simulations to aid localization.
• Maintains simulation and treatment records and billing documentation.
• Monitors patients during treatment and provides education.
• Performs QA and safety checks on equipment.
