Job Summary

Under the direction of the Radiation Oncologist and supervision of the center director, the Radiation Therapist has the responsibility to perform all clinical aspects of Radiation Therapy and other duties as assigned. The therapist treats, communicates with, and respectfully interacts with adult, older adult, and occasional infant through adolescent patients. The therapist is considerate and able to work effectively with patients with special physical, emotional, and/or psychological needs. The therapist will assist in the development and achievement of goals at the center and ensure the continual quality of services provided.

Hourly pay range: $47.33 - $73.34. Individual wages are determined based upon qualifications and experience.

Minimum Qualifications

• Successful completion of an educational program leading to registration as a Radiation Therapy Technologist.
• Current certification with the California Department of Public Health as a Radiation Therapist required. Current Registry with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology preferred.
• BLS certification within six months of hire.
• 1-2 years experience preferred.
