Job summary

Providence St Vincent Medical Center in Portland, Oregon is seeking a Radiation Therapist for per-diem/day shift to perform simulations and deliver therapeutic ionizing radiation as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist. This role supports patient care and collaborates with the oncology team.

Under the supervision of the Lead Therapist, you will teach, supervise and evaluate radiation therapy students; successful candidates will be AMA approved program graduates with Oregon licensure and ARRT

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiation Therapy Technology program.
• Must have Oregon Radiation Therapist License at time of hire.
• Must have National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform simulations and deliver therapeutic ionizing radiation as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist.
• Assist physician and staff to provide optimum patient care and treatment.
• With Lead Therapist, teach, supervise and evaluate radiation therapy students.
