Job summary

Providence St Vincent Medical Center in Portland, Oregon is seeking a Radiation Therapist for per diem day shift to perform simulations and deliver therapeutic ionizing radiation as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist. You will assist the physician and fellow staff to deliver optimum patient care.

Under supervision of Lead Therapist, you may teach, supervise, and evaluate radiation therapy students. The role requires AMA-approved radiation therapy program graduate, Oregon license, and ARRT

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiation Therapy Technology program
• Upon hire: Oregon Radiation Therapist License
• Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists

Responsibilities

• To perform simulations and deliver therapeutic ionizing radiation to the patient as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist
• Assists the physician and fellow employees in providing optimum care and treatment to the patients
• With the Lead Therapist, teaches, supervises and evaluates the radiation therapy students
