You will collaborate with oncologists, nurses, and dosimetrists to deliver precise care. The assignment spans 13 weeks, with a day shift and 8-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Current license in state of practice required if applicable.
• BLS, ARRT, RT(T) certifications preferred where applicable.
• 13-week assignment with day shift expectations.

Responsibilities

• Administers ionizing radiation per prescription.
• Simulates patients for planning and treatment preparation.
• Checks prescription, diagnosis, chart, and patient identification.
• Explains procedures to patients and reinforces clinician instructions.
• Prepares room and equipment for the patient, including immobilization devices and blocks.
• Transfers patients as needed and verifies treatment machine settings.
• Documents treatment parameters, doses, and billing information.
• Participates in quality and patient safety initiatives.
