Job Description

Participates in a variety of patient care and non-patient care duties involved in the planning and administration of radiation therapy to patients.

  1. Fabricates treatment aids and immobilization devices and performs simulation/AcQsim procedures.
  2. Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and performs quality checks.
  3. Performs radiation treatment delivery.
  4. Instructs students.
  5. Ensures patient and employee safety and communicates effectively.
  6. Participates in educational activities and staff meetings and ensures certification.
  7. Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Compensation Range: $37.47 - $59.95 Hourly

Minimum Requirements

Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Program.

Experience: No experience required.

Licensure: American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) certification within 6 months of hire. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.

Physical Demands

Proficient communicative, auditory, and visual skills; attention to detail; ability to write legibly; ability to lift/push/pull 20-50 lbs. May be exposed to blood, body fluids, and infectious diseases.
