Job summary

New Jersey Urology is seeking a Radiation Therapist to support our radiation oncology team. You will apply prescribed radiation treatments, explain procedures to patients, and ensure accurate setup and documentation throughout each session.

The role requires ARRT certification, strong clinical and computer skills, and the ability to work under supervision while maintaining patient comfort and safety. This full-time position offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities within a leading urology

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Therapy Technology program with a current or eligible certificate of registry from the ARRT.
• Demonstrates strong reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient with computer information systems and electronic charts.

Responsibilities

• Apply high quality radiation treatments to patients according to prescription.
• Explain procedures to patients and advise on reactions to treatment.
• Prepare rooms and equipment, including immobilization devices and accessories.
• Transfer patients safely to treatment couch and monitor positioning.
• Perform imaging as prescribed and document according to policy.
• Maintain patient markings and accurate setup documentation.
