Cardinal Health’s cCARE Fresno, CA is hiring a Radiation Therapist to administer prescribed doses of radiation and ensure safe, accurate delivery using linear accelerators. The role requires ARRT eligibility and graduation from an accredited program, with a strong patient-centered approach.

You’ll verify treatment plans, position patients and maintain detailed charts, collaborating with Radiation Oncologists and the therapy team.

Qualifications

• ARRT Board-eligible status
• Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy program
• Certification in Radiation Therapy Technology by ARRT

Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy as prescribed by the physician.
• Verify prescribed treatment dose before each treatment and verify fields/angles.
• Ensure placement of protective devices to shield healthy tissue.
• Simulate patients using CT or other devices to localize treatment areas.
• Maintain accurate treatment charts and documentation.
• Observe patient progress and report any complications.
• Adhere to radiation safety procedures and report anomalies.
