Sentara Princess Anne Hospital in Virginia Beach is seeking a Radiation Therapist II for PRN/Float shifts. The role provides external beam radiotherapy and brachytherapy to patients under a Radiation Oncologist, with responsibilities including simulations, equipment preparation, and record maintenance.

Requirements include an Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT certification, and a minimum of 3 years’ Radiation Therapy experience.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology required.
• ARRT Certification required.
• 3 years Radiation Therapy experience required.
• Completion of an approved certification program prior to 2016 considered.

Responsabilités

• Deliver external beam radiotherapy (3D, IMRT, SRS/SBRT).
• Deliver brachytherapy treatment.
• Perform patient simulations and prepare equipment (immobilization, treatment, protection devices).
• Review patient records for accuracy.
• Act as liaison with physician and supportive care personnel.
• Maintain patient records, reports, and files.
