Huntington Hospital in Pasadena, CA, seeks a Radiation Therapist I to provide daily cancer patient treatments, position patients, adjust equipment for daily dose, and record information related to daily treatment and patient concerns. Maintain a clean, orderly work area and utilize computers.
Flexibility in shift hours is a possibility. Minimum one year of Radiation Therapist experience is preferred; a CRT license and BLS certification are required or preferred per policy.

Under limited supervision and as assigned by the Coordinator, provides daily treatment for cancer patients. Positions patients and adjusts equipment for proper daily dose and operations. Records necessary information pertaining to daily treatment and patient concerns. Maintains assigned work area in a neat and orderly condition. Use of computers. This position may require flexibility of hours.
Associate's Degree or Graduate from an approved AMA school of Radiation Therapy Technology required.
Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Radiation Therapist, preferably working in the area to be assigned preferred.
Knowledge of computers, anatomy, physiology, linear accelerators, simulator, treatment planning and equipment, body mechanics, isolation procedures and standard precautions.

Pay Range: The estimated base rate for this position is $52.48 - $80.03.
Additional individual compensation may be available for this role through differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
