Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy technology program.
• ARRT certification required. Must hold valid state license for radiation therapy.
• Halcyon and IX Linac experience preferred.
• Radiation Therapist I: 0-3 years of experience.
• Radiation Therapist II: 3-5 years of experience actively practicing as an RTT.
• Senior Radiation Therapist: 5+ years of experience actively practicing as an RTT.

Responsibilities

• Delivers and records radiation therapy treatments under guidance of a radiation oncologist and chief radiation therapist.
• Enters and maintains patient treatment parameters into the electronic medical record.
• Participates in clinical instruction of newly hired therapists and students.
• Assists in maintaining patient appointment schedules and submitting correct billing information.
• Cuts blocks accurately when applicable.
• Makes custom molds accurately.
• Completes simple MU calculations accurately.
• Interprets a computerized treatment plan accurately.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

$10,000 Sign-On Bonus

Location: Sherman Oaks, CA.

Applicants will be hired into the appropriate title based on their credentials and years of experience applicable.

SCOPE: Under direct supervision, administers radiation therapy treatments to patients. Accuracy in positioning the beam of radiation to correspond with the designated tumor volume and accurately delivering the prescribed dose are paramount job functions. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.

Salary

• RTT I: $47.74-64.44
• RTT II: $56.75-$76.61
• RTT SR: $63.63-$85.90
