Job summary

AONC American Oncology Network is seeking a Radiation Therapist to deliver precise radiation treatments within the Radiation Oncology department. You will identify patients, position them for treatment, operate the treatment equipment and document all treatment records in the EMR, while upholding safety and patient care standards.

The role also involves documenting treatment-related data, assisting with simulations on physician request, and participating in QA checks to ensure high-quality care

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited School of Radiation Therapy Technology is required.
Preferred BS degree in Radiation Therapy Technology or related field.
Active ARRT registration and CPR/BLS certifications.

Responsibilities

Deliver radiation therapy according to prescriptions and treatment plans.
Identify patients, position them, and operate treatment equipment safely.
Document all treatment records accurately in the EMR.
Monitor for adverse reactions and report deviations promptly.
Perform daily/weekly QA checks and assist with simulations as needed.
Communicate clearly with patients, families, and healthcare team.
