Akumin Inc. is hiring a Radiation Therapist for our Reno, NV facility. This full-time role delivers prescribed radiation treatments under supervision, ensuring patient safety and precise documentation.

You will position patients, assist with simulations, and perform QA checks while maintaining open communication with the care team. Preferred candidates hold ARRT(T) certification (or in process) and CPR certification, with 3 years of experience typically expected.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Certificate from College or Technical School required.
• ARRT(T) certification required or in process to obtain.
• CPR Certification required.
• Preferred Experience: 3 years.
• COVID-19 vaccination may be a condition of employment.

Responsabilités

• Delivers radiation treatment per prescription and treatment plan under supervision.
• Ensures safety and documents treatment records accurately.
• Assists with patient positioning, simulations, and QA checks.
• Inputs treatment data into the EMR and documents charges.
• Assists in transport, chart review, and ordering supplies.
• Communicates effectively with patients and care team.
