Job summary

Essentia Health's Northwest Wisconsin Cancer Center in Ashland is seeking a Radiation Therapist to support state-of-the-art cancer care. You will administer, simulate and document radiation treatments under a Radiation Oncologist and work to keep patients comfortable throughout their treatment journey.

Minimum qualifications include ARRT certification, CPR, and graduation from an approved program. Essentia Health offers comprehensive benefits and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved radiation therapist program.
• ARRT certification within 90 days OR at hire.
• If hired after 1989, must be ARRT certified and registered in Radiation Therapy.
• Valid state credentialing, if applicable.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of technical procedures involving high-energy radiation producing equipment.
• Administers, simulates and records radiation treatments to patients as prescribed by a Radiation Oncologist.
• Provides daily patient contact to monitor effects of radiation.
