Essentia Health in Fargo, ND is seeking a Radiation Therapist to join our oncology team on a casual, as-needed basis. The role is Monday-Friday with no weekends, holidays, or on-call rotations, supporting treatment delivery and patient care.

The candidate will operate treatment and simulation equipment, assist with CT simulations, patient positioning, and imaging, while maintaining quality assurance and EHR documentation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved radiation therapist program.
• ARRT registration in Radiation Therapy.
• ND MIRT licensure.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver radiation therapy as prescribed and operate treatment and simulation equipment.
• Perform CT simulations, patient positioning, and monitoring.
• Conduct machine quality assurance and document in the EHR.
• Collaborate with patients, families and staff to ensure safety and quality.

This is a Monday-Friday position with no weekends, holidays, or on-call rotations required.The Radiation Therapist provides specialized, patient-centered care to patients undergoing radiation therapy, operates treatment and simulation equipment and technology, supports treatment planning, and adheres to quality and safety standards while maintaining patient confidentiality.Responsibilities include treatment delivery and imaging, CT simulations, patient positioning, patient monitoring, machine quality assurance, and documentation within the EHR.
