Job summary

UPMC Hillman Cancer Center is hiring a Radiation Therapist at the Shadyside/Pittsburgh, PA location. The role is Regular Full-Time with a daylight schedule, Monday through Friday, and includes a $15,000 sign-on bonus.

The incumbent delivers prescribed radiation treatments, obtains localization images, assists with contrast agents, and records treatment data in the verification system, under supervision of a Radiation Oncologist.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the orientation and supervision of students during clinical rotations and evaluates student performance.
• Delivers radiation treatments as prescribed, obtains localization images, and inputs data into the treatment verification system.
• Performs measurements for treatment calculations and assists in the administration of contrast agents.
• Maintains patient safety and quality documentation, and supports on-call coverage as needed.
• Participates in continuing education and regulatory compliance activities.
