Job summary

True North Consultants, Inc. in Buckeye Lake, Ohio seeks a Radiation Therapist with a valid RTT and Ohio LRTT license. The role requires at least 2 years of experience and proficiency with TrueBeam, Trilogy, and ARIA. Normal hours are 40 hours weekly, weekday days, with a full benefits package offered.

You will administer photon and electron therapy, assist in brachytherapy, perform simulations, QA activities, and educate patients and families while maintaining precise documentation.

Qualifications

• Completion of an AMA accredited Radiation Therapy Program.
• Licensed in the State of Ohio in Radiation Therapy (LRTT).
• At least 2 years of Radiation Therapy experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer photon and electron radiation and assist in brachytherapy under physician direction.
• Performs simulations, constructs shielding blocks, documents duties, and participates in QA activities.
• Accurately administers radiation therapy treatments per prescription and oncologist instructions.
• Performs simulations in preparation of radiation therapy treatments.
• Uses documentation to verify patient’s treatment orders and follow-through.
• Participates in assessing patient needs and education for patients and families.
• Operates imaging, therapeutic and related medical equipment safely and competently.
• Prioritizes work to complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Cross-trains in other areas to enhance operational effectiveness.
