Job summary

CentraCare Health in Alexandria, MN is seeking a Radiation Therapist to oversee the preparation, coordination and delivery of radiation treatments for adult patients. You will actively support patient safety initiatives and promote family-centered care through compassionate and collaborative interactions with patients, families and coworkers.

On occasion, you may assist at CentraCare's other Radiation Oncology locations, with a Monday–Friday day shift from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited school.
• ARRT certification and registration in Radiation Therapy, or registry eligibility, with certification within one year of hire.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association required.
• Experience in a radiation therapy establishment of comparable size and activity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation, coordination and delivery of radiation oncology treatments for patients 18 years or older.
• Support patient and workplace safety initiatives and promote family-centered care through compassionate and collaborative interactions with patients, families and coworkers.
