Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England in Springfield, MA seeks a Radiation Therapist to assist the Radiation Oncologist by delivering prescribed ionizing radiation with specialized equipment.

You will prepare treatment rooms, position patients, administer treatments, and monitor patients’ comfort and condition, while maintaining strict patient confidentiality and a compassionate, patient-centered approach.

This is a full-time position with rotating shifts and on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved Radiation Therapy program.
• Board eligible by the ARRT or 1 year experience.
• Must obtain ARRT licensure; 90 days to present evidence of licensure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment room and explain procedures to patients.
• Position patients and administer treatments.
• Monitor patients during therapy sessions and observe changes in condition.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and provide compassionate care.
