Job summary

HSHS Medical Group in Illinois seeks a Radiation Therapist to simulate and administer radiation therapy using a CT scanner and linear accelerator under a radiation oncologist's prescription.

The role requires an Associate degree in Radiation Therapy (BS preferred), ARRT eligibility or registration, and BLS. One year of experience is preferred. This is a PRN, 40-hour schedule with no weekend obligations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiation Therapy or graduate from an accredited Radiation Therapy program is required.
• Bachelor of Science in Radiation Therapy is preferred.
• Associate's Degree required for graduates from Radiation Therapy program after 12/31/14.

Responsibilities

• Simulate and administer radiation therapy per prescription.
• Operate CT scanner and linear accelerator for treatment delivery.
• Collaborate with Radiation Oncology team to ensure patient care.
