Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Certificate from College or Technical School required.
• CPR Certification required.
• ARRT(T) certification preferred or in progress; temporary state license acceptable with plan to obtain ARRT certification within one year.

Responsibilities

• Delivers radiation treatment according to written prescription and treatment plan under guidance of RT personnel.
• Explains procedures to patients and families; ensures patient comfort and safety during treatment.
• Documents treatment records accurately; reports deviations to RT mentor/physicist.
• Communicates effectively with patients, staff and physicians; provides patient education on side effects and care.
