What you will be doing in this role:
Under the supervision of the Chief Radiation Therapist and the professional direction of a Radiation Oncologist, the Radiation Therapist is expected to administer radiation treatments to cancer patients; verify treatment plans and quality checklists; document treatment, daily and weekly linear accelerator QA, portal images, and CBCT; coordinate and schedule patients in the Mosaiq system; notify the appropriate person of EPIC scheduling changes; follow physicians' prescriptions and carry out all instructions; verify the mathematical accuracy of treatment prescriptions; detect equipment malfunctions, troubleshoot, and report problems to the appropriate person; demonstrate appropriate medical knowledge when caring for patients with urgent/emergent needs; and demonstrate effective time management while proactively assisting other team members to meet teamwork goals. Education:
Graduate of an ARRT approved Radiation Therapy Program required
Bachelor's Degree in ARRT approved Radiation Therapy Program preferred
Experience:
A minimum of 3 years' technical experience as a Radiation Therapist preferred

License/Certification/Registrations:
California Therapeutic Radiation Technologist Certification required
American Registry of Radiologic Technology Certification required
Basic Life Support Certification required
