Job summary

Providence St. Mary Medical Center is seeking a Radiation Therapist Tech to deliver therapy services across patient settings. You will support the Radiation Oncology team, participate in education programs, and perform tasks per the department’s policy and procedures manual.

Relocation assistance is available for eligible hires. Shifts include Day hours with full-time and per-diem options, and you’ll work under medical direction from the Radiation Oncologist with supervision by the Radiation

Qualifications

• Completion of an ARRT-recognized education program accredited by JRCERT.
• Washington Radiologic Technologist licensure at hire or ARRT certification at hire.
• Clinical rotations from an accredited radiation therapy program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide radiologic therapy services and maintain clinical competencies.
• Assist in administrative tasks within Radiation Oncology.
• Adhere to department policies and maintain professional standards.

The Radiation Therapist Tech , R.T.(T)will provide services at appropriate levels to all patients and in all settings in the department. The Radiation Therapist Tech, R.T.(T), will also perform tasks and duties as outlined in the Radiation Oncology Department's Policy and Procedures Manual; will assist in assigned administrative tasks and will maintain clinical competencies through participation in educational and orientation programs. Involves general guidance and direction by the department director, medical direction by the Radiation Oncologist and immediate supervision by the Radiation Oncology Manager.

Required Qualifications:

• Completion of an A.R.R.T. recognized education program that is accredited by the JRCERT (Joint Review Committee on Education for Radiologic Technology).

• National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Completion of clinical rotations from an accredited radiation therapy program.
