Job summary

Main Line Health's Bryn Mawr Hospital is seeking a Radiation Therapist to deliver prescribed radiation treatments and provide patient-centered care. You will monitor patient status, recognize treatment-related concerns, and collaborate with the oncology team to ensure safety and comfort throughout therapy.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Technology Program.
• Certification (or eligible) in good standing in Radiation Therapy Technology by the ARRT.
• Certification within one year of graduation required.

Responsibilities

• Provide appropriate care for all patient populations and perform radiation treatment as prescribed by the radiation oncology physician.
• Recognize patient conditions for successful completion of treatment and build rapport with patients.
• Understand the function and utilization of equipment and detect equipment malfunction.

Shift: Day shift; 40 hours per week

Education:

1. Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Technology Program.
2. Certification (or eligible) in good standing in Radiation Therapy Technology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
3. Certification within one year of graduation required.

Licensures/Certifications:

Must maintain personal record of continuing education credits earned as required by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
