Job summary

Halifax Health is seeking a Day (United States of America) Radiation Therapist to administer ionizing radiation per treatment plan under a Radiation Oncologist’s supervision. You will contribute to patient care with accuracy and compassion in a multidisciplinary hospital setting.

The role requires graduation from a JRCERT accredited program, ARRT certification, and Florida licensure to practice in therapy, reflecting our commitment to safe, quality care.

• Licensed in the State of FL to work in therapy.

Day (United States of America) Radiation Therapist

Applies ionizing radiation in the treatment of patients under the direction and upon the prescribed treatment plan of a Radiation Oncologist (M.D.) to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Renders patient care which requires a high degree of responsibility and technical skills to insure the proper treatment and well-being of the patient.

Assesses patients medical and emotional needs on a daily basis and notifies physicians and nursing staff of any changes.

• Graduate of a JRCERT accredited school of Radiation Therapy.
• Certified by A.R.R.T. as a Radiation Therapist and licensed in the State of FL. to work in therapy.
