Tenet Healthcare's DMC Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital in Commerce Township, MI, seeks a skilled Imaging/Radiology professional to operate x-ray therapy equipment and contribute to patient care. You will document procedures, perform daily QA, and assist in treatment planning under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate x-ray therapy equipment to simulate and/or treat patients for malignancies and pain.
• Document treatment procedures in patient charts and verify accuracy.
• Perform daily QA checks on equipment and calculations as required.

Job Summary

• Under general direction and supervision and in accordance with prescription, operates x-ray therapy equipment in order to simulate and/or treat patients for malignancies and pain.
• Documents treatment procedures in patients charts and verifies accuracy.
• Performs quality assurance checks daily on equipment. Performs calculations when required.

Qualifications

1. Bachelors degree in Radiation Therapy Technology or graduate of a CAHEA accredited school to Radiation Therapy or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

2. Current registration or registry eligible with the ARRT. Must successfully complete registration examination in Radiation Therapy within one year of date of hire.
