Job summary

Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers in Boulder invites a full-time Radiation Therapist to join our team. The role includes a $20,000 sign-on bonus paid in four installments, with a base salary range $45.00-$60.00 hourly.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy technology program.
• Minimum of three years of active RTT experience.
• ARRT certification required and valid state license for Radiation Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and record radiation therapy treatments under supervision.
• Enter and maintain patient treatment parameters in EMR.
• Assist in maintaining patient appointment schedules and billing information.
• Cut blocks as applicable and make custom molds.
• Perform simple MU calculations.
• Interpret computerized treatment plans.

This position includes a $20,000 sign-on bonus, paid in four installments of $5,000: the first upon hire, and the remaining every six months thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Accurately delivers and records radiation therapy treatments under the direction of a radiation oncologist and chief radiation therapist.
• Accurately enters and maintains patient treatment parameters into electronic medical record.
• Assists in maintaining patient appointment schedule and submitting correct billing information.
• Accurately cuts blocks, when applicable.
• Accurately makes custom molds.
• Accurately completes simple mu calculations.
• Accurately interprets a computerized treatment plan.
• Maintains clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy technology program. Position requires at least three years experience actively practicing as an RTT. ARRT certification required. Must hold valid state license for radiation therapy.

Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 40 lbs. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment may include exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medi cal preparations and other conditions common to an oncology/hematology clinic environment. Work will involve in-person interaction with co-workers and management and/or clients. Work may require minimal travel by automobile to office sites.
