PC Recruiter is seeking a Radiation Therapist in Boston to deliver physician-prescribed radiation therapy using modern equipment in a fast-paced, high-acuity hospital setting.

You will review plans, position patients, monitor sessions for safety and comfort, and educate patients on procedures. ARRT certification and an Associate’s degree are required.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver accurate, physician-prescribed radiation therapy to patients using modern equipment.
• Review treatment plans, dose specifications, and patient charts for precise delivery.
• Prepare and position patients for therapy with proper equipment setup.
• Monitor patients during sessions for safety and comfort.
• Educate patients on procedures and provide reassurance throughout the process.
• Place wedges or blocks as needed to customize treatments.

About You

• Be able to do the job as described
• Completion of an Associate’s Degree or equivalent from an accredited institution
• ARRT certification required
• Requires analytical ability to determine proper set-up of equipment and patient, calculate length of treatment and detect adverse reactions to treatments
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume hospital setting
• Passion for serving diverse, urban patient populations
