Job summary

Hunter Recruiting is seeking a qualified Radiation Therapist to deliver precise therapeutic radiation treatments under a Radiation Oncologist, with a strong emphasis on safety, accuracy, and compassionate patient care.

The ideal candidate will graduate from an approved Radiation Therapy Technology program, hold ARRT registration or be eligible, and demonstrate excellent communication within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiation Therapy Technology program or equivalent.
• Current ARRT registration or registry eligibility in Radiation Therapy.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a high-stress environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic radiation treatments safely and accurately according to established treatment plans.
• Perform patient simulations and treatment applications using radiation therapy technology and imaging systems.
• Construct and utilize custom immobilization and treatment devices.
• Complete accurate patient charting, documentation, scheduling, and charge entry.
• Prepare treatment rooms and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Collaborate with radiation oncologists, physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.
• Participate in quality assurance, audits, chart reviews, and process improvement initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with departmental, regulatory, and accreditation standards.
• Support student education and participate in ongoing professional development.
• Adapt to new radiation therapy technologies, procedures, and equipment.

Radiation Therapist Responsibilities
