Qualifications

• AS/AA degree with 2 years of radiological protection experience (or HS diploma with 4 years).
• DOE Senior Radiological Control Technician or ANSI/ANS 3.1-1987 Senior RCT qualifications preferred.
• NRRPT registration or active eligibility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine radiation detection instrument performance tests.
• Radiation and contamination monitoring.
• Collection of air samples.
• Posting and labeling of radioactive materials.
• Access control into radiological areas.
• Radioactive waste surveys.
• Mentoring radiological workers.
