SaidGig is seeking a remote contractor to help assess frontier AI communications in radiological safety contexts. You will craft challenging prompts, label them benign/dual-use/adversarial, and write clear rationales for non-specialists.
You will evaluate AI responses against a defined policy, develop reference answers, and explain the underlying reasoning in accessible language for diverse readers. This is a per-task, remote engagement.
Help assess frontier AI systems at the boundary between legitimate radiological safety work and potentially dangerous misuse. You will apply practitioner judgment to determine when a technical request should receive a complete answer and when it requires a refusal, including scenarios involving isotopes, shielding, source security, worker protection, and other dual-use topics.
This writing-intensive work is best suited to practitioners who have held radiation-safety licensing responsibility, rather than only working under a license. Relevant experience may include:
Red-teaming experience is preferred. Technical writing, published research, or expert-witness experience is also valued. Candidates should be able to distinguish routine professional requests from requests that may conceal harmful intent.
Remote, per-task independent contractor engagement. The work includes sustained reading and writing about radiological misuse scenarios. You may pause or step away at any time without penalty.
65 to 75 per task.
Work must not use or draw on classified information, export-controlled information, material covered by an NDA, or material subject to prepublication review. Applicants with such obligations may still be considered if they disclose them so the work can be appropriately scoped.
Include a writing sample or link that demonstrates relevant technical writing, research, or expert-witness work. Disclose any applicable confidentiality, export-control, or prepublication obligations.
