Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate QA testing, including patient-specific reviews and equipment calibration.
  • Coordinate implementation and acceptance testing of new equipment/software; train staff as needed.
  • Oversee treatment planning collaboration with physicians, dosimetrists, and colleagues.
  • Develop and update policies to ensure safe and correct use of radiation.
  • Provide training to clinical staff on procedures and regulatory requirements.

Performs quality assurance testing, calibrates radiation therapy equipment, leads the implementation of new technologies, and develops policies and procedures.Job DutiesPerforms accurate and timely quality assurance testing including patient-specific reviews/measurements, equipment calibration, and routine testing. Maintains appropriate documentation.Coordinates and participates in the implementation of new equipment and software including acceptance, commissioning, and training.Coordinates and supports repair and maintenance activities and verifies proper operation prior to clinical usage, when applicable.Oversees, advises, and participates in treatment planning activities.
