Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Radiation Oncology Registered Nurse – Per Diem to join our ambulatory care team in Massachusetts. The role requires clinical nursing expertise, collaboration with physicians, and a commitment to high quality patient care in an ambulatory setting.

The position supports day shift coverage with up to 40 hours per week as needed. A MA nursing license and BLS certification are required to practice in this environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of a 2-4 year state approved and/or accredited School of Nursing.
• Licensure/Certification: Current MA nursing license; BLS certification.
• Skills/Abilities: Clinical skills, interpersonal and organizational abilities as required for ambulatory nursing practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe patient care with clinical judgment and decision making.
• Educate patients and families, collaborate with physicians and other staff.
• Coordinate care across the ambulatory setting and ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain knowledge per MA Board of Nursing rules and hospital policies.
• Demonstrate leadership and commitment to quality improvement.
