Qualificações

• Associates degree from accredited nursing program preferred, with BSN completion within 5 years of hire.
• BSN degree in Nursing from an accredited program preferred.
• State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License.
• 2 years medical-surgical or ICU nursing experience preferred.
• Experience in Oncology or Infusion centers preferred.
• Chemotherapy/Biotherapy/Immunotherapy provider certification required within 1 month of hire.
• National Oncology Certification required to be obtained within 2-3 years of hire.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS required.

Responsabilidades

• Provides direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting patient needs and responses.
• May cover oncology-related units and infusion areas as needed.
• Coordinates patient care with family and healthcare team.
• Provides education and discharge needs throughout admission and care episode.
• Administers chemotherapy and other oncology treatments as prescribed.
