Job summary
Duly Health and Care is seeking a Radiation Oncology Nurse for our Schaumburg medical campus. This role provides direct nursing care to patients undergoing radiation therapy, coordinating with physicians and the care team to support treatment and patient education.
Ideal candidates hold an Illinois RN license with BLS; OCN is highly preferred. The position offers full-time hours with no evenings or weekends and comprehensive benefits as part of our growing cancer services team.
Qualifications
- Current license to practice in the State of Illinois as a professional nurse.
- Maintains BLS certification.
- OCN certification highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients receiving radiation therapy.
- Coordinate care with physicians and care team.
- Monitor patient needs and provide education and support.
- Handle patient information per laws and policies.
- Collaborate with health care team for continuity of care.
- Assist with patient histories, vitals, and exams when needed.
