Job summary

Duly Health and Care is expanding cancer services at our Schaumburg Medical Campus. We seek a Radiation Oncology Nurse to join a collaborative, physician-led team and support patients throughout their cancer journey.

You will provide direct nursing care to patients receiving radiation therapy, coordinate with the care team, monitor needs, and offer education and support to patients and families during treatment. This role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice in Illinois as a professional nurse.
• Maintains BLS certification.
• OCN certification highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients receiving radiation therapy.
• Coordinate care with physicians and care team.
• Monitor patient needs; provide education and support.
• Serve as a resource for patients and families during treatment.
• Administer medications and perform dressing changes as directed.
• Triages patient messages and coordinates tests or procedures as needed.

Education

Illinois nursing license

BLS certification

Oncology experience (preferred)
