Job summary

MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Radiology Therapeutic team on days (4x10hr AWS) 7:00 AM–5:30 PM in Long Beach. You will provide safe, cost-effective patient care for Radiation Oncology in collaboration with the Radiation Oncologist and team.

Ideal candidates have 1 year oncology experience, California RN license with BSN preferred, and proficiency in EPIC/ARIA and Microsoft Office tools.

Qualifications

• Completion of pre-employment drug screening.
• Completion of pre-employment health evaluation including TB screening.
• Must be able to work every other weekend and be available any day of the week.
• Ideal candidate will have 1 year minimum oncology nursing experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, EPIC and ARIA.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, cost-effective patient care within the Radiation Oncology scope.
• Collaborate with Radiation Oncologist and Oncology team for comprehensive cancer care.
• Navigate patients through radiation treatments and related oncology disciplines.
• Schedule and monitor radiation therapy treatments and patient education.
