Qualifications

• 5 years of progressive leadership experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management.
• Current New Jersey license as a Radiation Therapy Technologist.
• Registered by the ARRT in Radiation Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Develops safety procedures, staff education, and radiation therapy education for staff.
• Ensures high quality standards are met for radiation services for inpatients, outpatients, and employees.
• Maintains records for licensing, regulatory agencies, and accreditation standards.
• Ensures therapists are current with NJ DOH license and ARRT certification.
• Oversees treatment machine proficiency and staff training on new setups.
• Monitors infection control measures and ensures program quality.
• Builds partnerships with staff, patients, families, and physicians to improve programs and outcomes.
• Assists in radiation safety program development and maintains exposure and maintenance records.
• Manages recruitment, development, and supervision of team members; sets objectives and evaluates performance.
• Represents department on committees and coordinates across sites to optimize staffing and budget.
