Job summary

Sanford Health in Sioux Falls, SD seeks a Physicist in the Radiation Oncology Department. The role involves contributing to modern image-guided external beam photon therapy and HDR brachytherapy, sharing duties with two physicists and the department director.

Experience with Aria/Eclipse and RAM license AMP status is preferred; RAM license experience preferred. The position includes support to a satellite clinic in Worthington, MN and extensive collaboration with oncologists and dosimetrists.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in physics, biophysics, medical physics or radiological physics.
• Certification in radiation oncology physics preferred; however, new grads or non-certified physicists may be considered if board eligible.
• Must obtain certification within 5 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Participate in image-guided external beam photon therapy and HDR brachytherapy.
• Share duties with two Physicists and the Director of Radiation Oncology.
• Support satellite Sanford Health clinic in Worthington, MN.
• Oversight of QA and treatment planning tools in the department.
