Job summary

Sanford Health in Sioux Falls, SD, is seeking a Physicist for the Radiation Oncology Department. You will share duties with two Physicists and the Director, contributing to image-guided external beam therapy and HDR brachytherapy.

Ideal candidates have a Master's or PhD in physics-related fields, with certification in radiation oncology physics preferred. Experience with Aria/Eclipse is a plus; sign-on and relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• We require a Master's or PhD in physics, biophysics, medical physics or radiological physics.
• Certification in radiation oncology physics is preferred; board eligibility considered for new grads.
• Must obtain certification within 5 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to image-guided external beam photon therapy and HDR brachytherapy.
• Collaborate with four radiation oncologists and four dosimetrists on patient plans.
• Support a satellite Sanford Health clinic in Worthington, MN as needed.
