Job summary

City of Hope in Orange County, CA, seeks Open Rank Physicist – Radiation Oncology (Exempt) for two full-time positions at the Lennar Foundation Cancer Center. This campus features cutting‑edge technologies and a collaborative clinical and research environment.

You will lead advanced treatment planning, work with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, and therapists, and apply innovative systems such as TrueBeam, MRIdian, HDR, and SBRT to deliver safe, precise cancer therapies.

Qualifications

• PhD in Physics or related field required.
• ABR or ACAMP certification (or eligibility, with certification within 2 years of hire) required.
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced radiation treatment planning including dose calculations, plan optimization, and quality assurance.
• Collaborate with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, therapists, and other staff to ensure clear documentation and patient care.
• Utilize state-of-the-art technology to design and implement precise cancer treatment solutions with high safety standards.
