City of Hope Medical Center Radiation Oncology is seeking a full-time, Board-Certified Medical Physicist at our beautiful, sunny Southern California academic campus in Duarte. City of Hope is a private, non-profit clinical research center, hospital, and graduate school in Southern California, providing high quality cancer care across four (4) states. Receiving its NCI designation in 1981, City of Hope is committed to providing comprehensive cancer care and its status as a leading cancer center. Here, in Duarte, we are equipped with state-of-the-art technologies including: Reflexion, Ethos, Radixact, Tomotherapy, TrueBeam, TrueBeam STX and Flexitron HDR. In addition, we also have amble simulation capabilities including CT, PET/CT and 3T MRI simulation units.
City of Hope provides ample support and opportunity for our physicists to develop both a clinical and research career. We also have an established Physics Residency program. Our department is growing with a team of14 radiation oncologists(4 research focused),9physicists, 2 physics residents and physics assistant.
