Job summary

Ladgov Corporation seeks a Radiation Oncology Physician to deliver comprehensive cancer care at the Baltimore VA Medical Center. The physician will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, supervise therapy, and coordinate with the oncology team.

The role involves extensive experience with Varian linacs (Edge), Eclipse/ARIA, CT simulations, SBRT/IMRT, and ABR certification, in a full-time on-site capacity at the Baltimore VA Medical Center.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO with board-certified Radiation Oncology training.
  • Licensed to practice medicine in the U.S.
  • Minimum five years post-residency Radiation Oncology experience.
  • Experience with Varian linacs (Edge) and TG-142 guidance.
  • Proficient in CT simulation, treatment planning, and image-guided therapy.
  • Ability to obtain VA credentialing and background clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct consultations and evaluate patients for appropriate treatment.
  • Perform CT simulations, treatment planning, treatment delivery, and post-treatment follow-up.
  • Develop individualized radiation therapy plans based on clinical findings and imaging.
  • Provide and oversee treatment using Varian linear accelerators (Edge or equivalent).
  • Perform image-guided radiation therapy using cone beam CT (TG-142).
  • Review treatment plans, imaging, dose calculations, and patient positioning before treatment.
  • Coordinate patient care with physicists, dosimetrists, nurses, and oncology team.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in VA EMR (CPRS when applicable).
  • Participate in tumor boards, peer reviews, and QA activities.
