Job summary

Dignity Health Medical Foundation is seeking a Radiation Oncology Systems Analyst to support the clinical team in optimizing Varian Aria/Eclipse workflows and maintaining seamless patient care through robust IT infrastructure.

The role serves as the technical bridge between enterprise security mandates and clinical operations, managing hardware, AD mappings, and training staff across Sacramento and Carmichael centers to ensure secure, efficient radiation oncology systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or 4+ years related experience.
2+ years in implementation, troubleshooting, and training of radiation oncology systems.
Strong IT and computer skills.
Strong communication skills, with experience in technical documentation.
Knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with IT Cybersecurity, EUS, and Varian to maintain validated configurations and security for Radiation Oncology Varian systems.
Serve as liaison between Varian and CommonSpirit IT for interface testing and integration with Cerner/Athena.
Troubleshoot access, remote connectivity, and interface issues for Radiation Oncology systems with IT and Cybersecurity, prioritizing patient safety.
Train Radiation Oncology staff on Varian Aria/Eclipse and communicate downtime and security updates.
